Turkey Time

This is a post that should have been posted in November but I couldn't not post it, even if it's a month late.

Oliver's teacher asked him (and his classmates) to decorate four "feathers" for his class's "Thankful Wall-Turkey."

Oliver dictated to our babysitter the things he was thankful for and she wrote them on the feathers he later helped color.  Here is just some of what he said he is thankful for: "Mango" the dog, gusting winds, fire trucks, ambulances, tractors, cats...

...tornadoes, waterspouts (a tornado over water, in case you didn't know), Diet Coke and Pepsi (both of which he never gets to drink), M&M's, markers, slides, swings and fire ants.

Um, I mean, who isn't thankful for fire ants??  Hearing what a 4 year old is thankful for reminds me just how much I have to be thankful for!
