Bennett also happened to be at the table as he was on his feeding pump. (I used to be the parent who didn't want her children watch TV before the age of 2. But I gave that up as soon as I realized I was going to have to entertain a strapped down one year old on a feeding pump for an hour). Bennett is doing really wonderful drinking and eating. He really enjoys drinking water from a cup. He never drinks that much, but we're just happy he does it.
The boys looked pretty delicious just sitting there together. It's obvious they are brothers. I love that they share a love for drinking and watching cars together. Cheers!

I happened upon your blog searching for "G-tube" and "Cystic Fibrosis". My 7 year old son with CF got his G-tube last summer. He has grown and had some weight gain. Unfortunately, right now he's eating next to nothing, and we have increased bolus feeds, which leads to .. guess what, less eating. Which in turn seems to be leading towards reflux.
ReplyDeleteAnyhow ... your boys are very cute! ((hugs))
Yay for Bennett making progress on eating and drinking!! Go Bennett, Go!!
